We have a wonderful blessing!

Mariachi Band

I had to include this picture of Braylon watching the Mariachi band. We went to a Mexican restaurant Friday evening and they had the band for entertainment while we ate. Braylon studied them and just watched their every move. He could hardly eat when the band was near. Ben and I just laughed at him along with the other customers and servers.

Canyon

On our Amarillo trip, we were blessed to have a couple of hours with Grandma Maxine. Braylon was so sweet to her.

First Flight

Ben, Braylon, and I flew to Amarillo on a Friday evening and back to Houston on a Sunday afternoon. It was a whirlwind of a trip. We enjoyed our visit with some wonderful christian people. Braylon did great on both flights. He snacked and played with all the passengers around us. I couldn't believe we left the house without our camera. I am thankful to have a phone with a camera on it.

Children's Museum

For those of you who live in Houston, the first Sunday of the month is free admission to the Children's Museum. Ben and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think Braylon did as well. They have a Tot Spot for babies 35 months and younger to crawl around.

He was a little overwhelmed at all the kids, noise, sights, etc.
Daddy was peaking at Braylon through the hole.
Nasty! Get that ball out of your mouth!
Don't put those in your mouth. No tellin' how many kids have been touching those.
"There's a seat over here, Daddy."
"Wow! Gas prices aren't what they used to be."

Solids!

I'm so thankful to have moved on to solids and out of the baby food stage. At 8 months and 1 week, we introduced Braylon to sweet potatoes and apples. He absolutely loves the independence of feeding himself. I appreciate the opportunity to eat meals again without having to spoon-feed him.

Fall Festival

Our church, Memorial CoC, held a neighborhood fall festival Sunday afternoon. Poor Braylon had been up for 6 or 7 hours when these pictures were taken. Needless to say, he was beyond tired.
